Mission Statement
LEA is a non-profit, non-partisan professional association that aims to spread and enhance the economics culture and methodology in Lebanon, with a view to adding value to the public policy debate.
Objectives
1 Facilitate and promote the exchange of economics research on Lebanon among professional economists, and with the broader public (students, NGOs, Government institutions)
2 Foster closer links among academic and non-academic institutions and professionals that are concerned with economic policy issues in Lebanon
3 Cooperate with international economist associations
Partner Institutions
LEA seeks to partner with Lebanese and foreign institutions to pursue its mission. Currently, LEA is partnering with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation on a research project on economic liberalization in Lebanon. .
